Tormented Artifacts

On DeviantArt I came across the Art of Dmitri Arbacauskas who can be found as the user Winneganfake especially a pictures of a very occultistic Version of the Tree of Life cought my interest. Browsing his page at DeviantArt, I also found pictures of a Card pack which I liked a lot. A short note to him and I found his Web page Tormented Artifacts where I could order the really cool Pack of Cards called “The Windrow-Ravenswood Deck

Ordering was easy and after a resonably short while a pack of cards was dropped in my Postbox. The Cards are standart sized playing Cards. It is not a Tarot Deck but a standart playing Cards deck with very different images, colors and suits.

Replacing the standard four suits with a much more strange and macabre set of artwork, the Windrow-Ravenswood Deck’s imagery sets the stage for a much more intense game than the usual diversion that playing cards provide.

I especially like the magical circles which make one of the four suits, but also the other suits are very appealing. The Artwork lies somwhere between Steampunk, Occult and vanitas and gives a nice dark Jules Verne or “Cliff Hanger” Feeling.
If you are looking for a cool Deck to pep up your Roleplaying game this is it. If you are looking for an artwork Deck to display some cards in a frame, this is also it.
The price of 20$ is resonable I think!

The Homepage of Dmitri Arbacauskas also offers more cool objects and pictures. I really like the Artwork of the “Book of Memorys“. There you can also find the Tree of Life and other occult images.

Have fun surfing the Webpage, the Objects are also very cool.
